The 2024 season is not over yet, but for Kevin Manfredi it is already time to think about the future.
New contract and new goals with the 2024 SuperStock world vice-champion Team.
The La Spezia rider, born in 1995, will face his ninth season as a regular in the Endurance World Championship and will do so aboard the CBR 1000RR of the RAC 41 Honda Team, with the direct support of Honda France.
Kevin will also find an old acquaintance in the team, his former teammate from 2018/2019 and Suzuka 2024, Chris Leesh, with whom he has an excellent relationship and who has already been a RAC 41 rider from previous seasons.
Kevin: “After the Bol d'Or I wanted to move to the EWC, but there was no room, except in some private teams.
So, Honda France and RAC 41 have offered me a contract and a Honda rider seat to aim for the 2025 title in the SuperStock category.
I will defend the colors of a Team that came close to the title in 2023 and finished second in 2024; I think this is a great opportunity.
Together with the Team we have already planned a winter work program with tests in Spain.
The first will be in Alcarrás in February to get to know each other and start working together, followed by two tests in March in Andalucía and Almería, which will be the official private tests for Honda.
The goal is to win the Superstock World Championship, and we have all the credentials to do so, although we know that Endurance races are always an unknown until the end.
I thank Julien Diguet of RAC 41 and Bruno of Honda France for the opportunity; I can't wait to start this new adventure."
Kevin Manfredi will kick off the 2025 season with the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, scheduled for April 19/20.
The Spa-Francorchamps 8 Hours will follow on June 6/7, the Suzuka 8 Hours on August 1/2, and finally the final round with the 24 Hours of Bol d'Or on September 20/21.
Kevin thanks all the sponsors and technical partners of the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
