MOTO-E SEASON ENDS IN MISANO

The 2024 MotoE World Championship season comes to an end with the San Marino Grand Prix on the Riviera Romagnola, held at the Misano World Circuit.

Rider Kevin Manfredi reached a new milestone: he was the only rider to complete all the races and score points in every round of the Championship.

His speed was also excellent on his home weekend, finishing free practice and qualifying very close to the leading group in terms of lap times. It was a breathless weekend in the hotly contested MotoE, featuring two races at the limit with constant overtaking and counter-overtaking.

After obtaining 13th place in qualifying, just 0.6 tenths from 4th, Kevin finished the two Saturday heats in 13th and 14th position respectively. In race 1, his teammate's crash separated the leading group, compromising the possibility of a comeback. In the second race of the afternoon, however, the heat and the slipstream did not help the rider from La Spezia, increasing the pressure of the front tire and causing difficulties in braking.

Kevin: "It was not my best season in the MotoE world championship, we have always lacked something, but I am happy with myself because I have always given my best, and everyone here has noticed it. I would have liked to achieve more, but this year it was not possible. It's a shame, because the podiums achieved last year had given me an additional boost. They have been two intense years with Simoncelli's team: we achieved two podiums, some fast laps and several front rows. The work done together has helped me grow, and even if this chapter ends with the last round, I will always carry it with me. However, my season is not over yet, and now I want to focus on the new challenges, to return to fighting for the positions that count in 2025."

Kevin Manfredi thanks all the sponsors and technical partners for their support in the 2024 season.
